Designer II

This is a remote position near any Anthem location.

The Designer II is responsible for providing advanced creative technical advice for moderately complex marketing communication projects.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Consults with team and business leaders to understand business needs. 
  • Provides creative input in the strategic development of all types of communication and marketing materials, and offers design recommendations to deliver outstanding work. 
  • Develops creative ideas and solutions to meet customer needs. 
  • Originates design layout and executes creative plans. 
  • Uses graphic design software applications to produce print and digital sales and marketing communications including collateral materials, multimedia solutions, and/or interactive experiences. 
  • Supports business initiatives, and identifies process improvement opportunities. 
  • Critically evaluate work and solve problems while considering project needs. 
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 
  • Requires proficiency in graphic design.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop preferred 
  • Knowledge of fonts, layouts for printed materials, and editol layouts 
  • Knowledge of paper and print specifications 1-2 years of advertising agency preferred 
  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong time-management skills 
  • Expert in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint 
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently 
  • Ability to work under the constraints of an existing brand and identity
