Aon is looking for a Graphic Designer.

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Risk Services in Chicago, IL.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong layout and design skills, acute attention to detail, accuracy, creativity and self-motivation 
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver consistent and effective designs across a variety of media 
  • Represent Aon’s brand strategy internally in order to persuade and influence others 
  • Develop flexible processes and tools to support different levels of creative needs in a fast-paced, budget-conscious environment 
  • Ensure deadlines are met, quality is consistent and adhere to brand guidelines 
  • Participate and contribute to business revenue, impacting company growth

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise:

  • 3-5 years of in-house design experience; previous proposal/bid work strongly preferred (to required) 
  • Strong creative portfolio that shows a wide variety of media, techniques, and experience 
  • Proficiency in various market-based creative tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) 
  • Knowledge of animation and motion graphic production (e.g. Adobe After Effects) a plus 
  • Creative, effective use of Microsoft Office applications for the production of client deliverables from short letters and summaries to 100+ page RFP responses. 
  • Communicate clearly, concisely, and in a timely manner with internal clients to determine project parameters and present ideas. 
  • Pre and post-production skills (e.g. prep files for print) 
  • Collaborate with remote/off-site Aon colleagues to meet goals and create deliverables

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 equivalent years of industry experience.
