Position Description:

Prepares and creates designs, illustrations and photography for collateral materials, packaging/labeling and environmental graphics, which require some originality while maintaining brand guidelines. Prepares documents using sophisticated graphic design software.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepares sales and marketing brochures, catalogs, advertising, tradeshow materials, product packaging and labeling from start to finish 
  • Organizes and manages multiple projects 
  • Interacts with internal and external customers during the design process, as required 
  • Maintains an awareness of current trends and practices in the graphic design/arts field; evaluates and recommends improvements in software, equipment or practice 
  • Collects and preflights documents using graphic design software 
  • Maintains consistent brand representation across all media and touchpoints 
  • Reviews designs for errors before getting it processed for execution 
  • Tracks and monitors time and materials for charge back purposes 
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements:

  • Creative artistic sensibility in design, page layout, illustration and photography 
  • Intermediate skill in graphic design software
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects with firm deadlines and high attention to detail 
  • Good interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a diverse group of people in a team environment 
  • Ability to review the quality of a project by following the policies set forth within the corporation 
  • General knowledge of web design 
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location 

Education:

  • Associates Degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in desktop publishing, graphic design, preferably in a graphic services environment
