Dakota Supply Group (DSG) is seeking a Graphic Designer. As a Graphic Designer, you will assist in developing and executing creative concepts and visual assets for DSG's customer brand experience. Your passion to make the world a more beautiful place, mixed with your versatility, helps to set the creative expression for DSG. As part of the Marketing Team, the Graphic Designer exhibits a balancing act of commerce and creativity, business needs and aesthetic intelligence, brand heritage expertise, and forward-looking trend awareness.

This role has the flexibility to be performed on-site in Plymouth, MN or via remote/hybrid work within our footprint (MT, ND, SD, NE, IA, MN, WI, MI).

A Typical Day in the Life of a Graphic Designer at DSG:

Coordinate with the Creative Services Manager, freelancers, the Marketing Team, and other stakeholders to produce final design assets

Develop and execute creative concepts and visual assets for the customer and brand experience, including:

  • advertisements
  • signage
  • seasonal campaigns
  • social media illustrations
  • photography
  • digital experience
  • website assets
  • print collateral
  • trade show materials
  • vehicle wraps
  • in-store retail design including POP displays
  • omnichannel design

Review and manage internal requests for graphic design needs

Develop, create, and deploy graphic designs for the brand, individual DSG locations, and digital assets

Manage multiple projects and campaigns at one time, adhering to deadlines

Ensure alignment with company brand specifications for all outputted materials

Employ graphic design principles to evaluate and enhance existing digital and physical assets for future graphics needs

Maintain digital asset library and make suggestions for enhancements

A Successful Graphic Designer Typically Has:

  • Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design experience 
  • Postsecondary degree in design, graphic arts, or related field 
  • 5 years' related experience (or equivalent) 
  • Exhibit proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software in a Mac environment 
  • Broad knowledge of graphic art standards and equipment, as well as current and evolving trends within a commercial environment 
  • An understanding of how graphics and interior design mix with the ability to do so in a cohesive manner 
  • The ability to work across various mediums with ease 
  • Efficiency in Microsoft 365 suite applications 
  • An innovative problem-solving and strategic-thinking mindset 
  • Strong organization skills and the self-motivation to complete projects within deadlines, with minimal supervision 
  • Responsive to feedback, with the willingness to revise designs 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Experience with HubSpot and RoboHead (preferred) 
  • Familiarity with project management principles (preferred) 
  • Familiarity or experience in video editing software (preferred)
