Graphic Designer

We are looking for a mid-level graphic designer who will see magazine designs from start to finish. Reporting to the Art Director within the Creative Department, you will work on our automotive client's lifestyle magazine.

Responsibilities:

• Design engaging magazine layouts and inserts 
• Illustrate simple maps and iconography to enhance layouts 
• Retouch imagery 
• Source photography from stock sites 
• Help plan photoshoots when needed 
• Prepare files for printer 
• Constant communication with Art Director 
• Communicate with Editorial and Proofing staff for copy needs

• High proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator CC 
• Familiarity with the print production process 
• The desire to continuously improve processes 
• Close attention to detail (i.e. you yearn to kern) 
• Sense of accountability and ownership 
• Experience in editorial design (a big plus) 
• 3-5 years working in a professional design environment
