Graphic Designer (Full-Time or Part-Time ~ Limited Term Employment)
Support Staff Non-Exempt ~ $20.28 per hour
Reports To: Director of Marketing
Location: Lakeshore Technical College ~ Cleveland Campus
Employment and Work Schedule: 24 - 38.75 hours per week; Monday - Friday (Approximately 15 week duration of employment with the potential for limited hours beyond 15 weeks.)
Develop creative concepts and design a wide variety of marketing communications materials. Produce mock-ups for internal reviews. Participate in creative concepting with marketing staff members. Use design principles to create, design and prepare layouts for College advertising and communication materials including: print ads, billboards, web media, posters, direct mail pieces and promotional items. Develop & produce collateral materials such as brochures, newsletters, annual reports and catalogs.
- Transform simple copy documents to impactful and creative communication pieces.
- Provide mock-ups to appropriate staff for approval and create templates for Marketing and outside departments.
- Integrate type/typefaces, images, graphics, and colors to communicate the message to the appropriate demographic.
- Change/modify images as necessary and maintain and organize graphic files.
- Maintain the brand/identity to support the college mission and utilize the College image standards on all materials.
- Prepare approved files according to printer and project specifications.
- Provide 5 Star Customer Service to both internal and external customers.
