Responsibilities include designing, producing and leading the design process for a variety of pieces consisting of: original print and digital brochures, promotional pieces, digital newsletters, announcements, trade show booths, displays, print ads, info graphics and presentations; providing photo touch-up for photographs, logo creation, illustrations and building signage; leading photo shoots; updating and maintaining our photo library; assisting in the coordination of video production; creating animations and/or motion graphics; and serving as a resource for brand, copyright, and Adobe Creative Suite questions. Some travel may be required.
The successful candidate must have a combination of education and experience totaling seven years in graphic design, marketing, or related field. Any of the following is acceptable: bachelor’s degree in graphic design (or related field) plus three years of relevant design experience; associate degree in graphic design (or related field) plus five years of relevant design experience; OR if no degree, at least seven years of relevant graphic design experience.
Ideal candidates will have experience with any/all of the following:
- InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects, Premier, Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), and/or Wordpress (Dreamweaver, HTML and CSS experience a plus)
- Project management
- Digital and print marketing, page layout, video production, animations/motion graphics and advertising that translates complex subject matter into visuals while maintaining the firm’s brand
- Template design and usage
- Working in the engineering/architecture/construction industry OR with professional services, B2B or corporate communications
