Marketing

Our team interacts regularly with research and sales groups to produce timely content for our practice’s risk managed products and services, as well as for our clients. This includes digital and print collateral, ad campaigns, website design, video creation, social media presence, and conference/event design.

Our compact marketing team is unique in the large-scale work we bring to market on behalf of our practice and our clients. This designer’s role will have a direct impact on executed work from day one.

Graphic Designer

In this role, you will:

  • Report directly to the Creative Services Manager and have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects. 
  • Work within the visual brand identity of Milliman FRM, as well as the brand identity for numerous clients/products. 
  • Conceptualize and execute high-quality design and creative assets across many channels, including both digital and print.

Your focus will be on:

  • Building graphics for use on websites, applications, web tools, emails, etc. You will work closely with internal and external development teams. 
  • Preparing graphic needs for advertising campaigns through web ads (static and animated), print ads, TV ads, and social media campaigns (static image, data visualization, video content, and animated graphics) 
  • Designing industry collateral created for print and digital distribution: will work closely with research and compliance team to execute brochures, insights, white papers, factsheets, presentations, etc. 
  • Producing graphics for potential new business/product branding: logo, brand guidelines, pertinent template files for collateral pieces, etc. 
  • Preparing custom creations and presentations for key client engagements and events including banners, signage, agendas, promotional items, and other meeting materials: will work with multiple vendors to realize goals. 
  • Providing client support for in-house video production and collaborating on a final product.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field 
  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe XD) 
  • Experience in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams) 
  • A link to your online portfolio in your resume. Your application will not be considered without a portfolio.

Desired:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in creative role. 
  • Strong creative portfolio demonstrating a breadth of creative capabilities with a focus on digital design. Knowledge of standards-based HTML/CSS for responsive web and email design. 
  • Critical eye for content hierarchy and design aesthetics. Strong creative ideation, plus command of graphic design fundamentals including typography, grids, layout, and color. 
  • An inherent sense of the value of collaboration, with the ability to work independently. 
  • Proven capacity to work in a fast-pace environment where the client is always first. 
  • Strong ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently. 
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality. 
  • Knowledge of financial services products is a plus, specifically: mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, variable insurance trusts, and FINRA advertising regulations.
