Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Customer service is critical to the success of any organization that deals with customers. Strong customer service skills can build retention and visibility asNCCstrives to distinguish itself from its competitors. An individual in this position must possess the proficiency, wherewithal and knowledge of principles and processes for providing high-quality customer and personal services to both internal and external customers of the College.
- Knowledge of both Macintosh andIBMsystems required. Experience in the use of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere and other Adobe Creative Suite programs.
- Communication, organization, project management and task management skills.
- Portfolio required.
Distinguishing Characteristics:
The individual in this position is a member of the Enrollment Marketing team, responsiblefor visually presenting North Central College to a variety of constituencies. This individual will be required to manage multiple priorities and meet multiple deadlines while uniquely stewarding the College’s brand and maintaining the College’s graphic standards through print, web, social media and other marketing and communications channels. This individual participates in brainstorming sessions and creatively implements the College’s brand through a variety of marketing assets.
Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s degree degree in graphic design, graphic communication, interactive media studies or related field is required.
Experience Minimum:
- 1-3 years job-related graphic design experience and portfolio desired.
