As a designer at our award winning brand firm, you’ll work on a variety of projects, such as corporate identity, branding programs, websites, advertising, graphic standards manuals, packaging, exhibitions and displays, corporate communications and more.

You'll work to a brief agreed to with the client, creative director or account manager and you will develop creative ideas and concepts. The work demands originality, creativity, an ability to extend the concepts via different media (print, online, 3D) and skill at preparing ideas for presentation. It will require attention to detail and a professional process managing your time per the deadline.

Personally you’ll be expected to be self-motivated, professional, capable of juggling projects, detail oriented, flexible and “in-love’ with everything about design. Writing skills and a great sense of humor are extremely beneficial.

You may need to manage more than one design project at a time and typical activities will include:

  • Meeting with clients or account managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the project 
  • Working as part of a team with account execs, writers, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, printers, web developers and more. 
  • Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts (the ability to write a headline or extend the direction of an idea to present it to the client is highly beneficial) 
  • You’ll need to have a strong aesthetic sense re: typography, color, balance, information hierarchy and more. 
  • Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for internal review 
  • Understanding and developing interactive and print projects 
  • Proficient at In-Design, Photoshop is required, Ability to update and program in HTML or Wordpress is helpful. 
  • Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work 
  • Understanding and keeping up to date with emerging technologies.
