DESIGN

The Graphic Designer (GD) works independently on assigned projects, or as a member/manager of a project team. The Graphic Designer designs concepts and completes assignments according to strategic/creative input and previous designs. The GD will also work with vendors to complete design requirements or to supervise their production.

REPORTING

The position will report to the Director of Brand and Content marketing and will work with members of the marketing department, sales, sales support and other departments to ensure continuity of our brand and messaging across the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

MANAGEMENT

Manage the timely and cost-efficient production of relevant marketing related collateral, sales tools, including but not limited to brochures, catalogs, sell sheets, retention and acquisition pieces, flyers, newsletters, signage, banners, interactive design, presentations, email campaigns and other related projects. Manage relevant printing projects to ensure quality and perfect final product outcomes. Manage project design work from inception to completion.

MARKETING

Enhance marketing appeal and aesthetic of all digital properties. Liaise with Marketing peers for projects, company and brand direction, and to ensure deadlines are consistently met.

INNOVATION

Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products and services.

DESIGN

Design original corporate communication pieces, including illustrations, infographics, digital brochures, emails, digital advertisements, and video.

REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE

4+ years of experience with Graphic Design - required. 4+ years of vendor management experience - preferred. 4+ years of videography and photography experience – a plus. Possess in-depth experience with PC systems and products. Additional experience with the Microsoft Office Platform, Workfront, and Google Platform products is a bonus.

CREATIVE

Be an expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, Premier, AfterEffects) and set up files for print and digital distribution. Be creative, organized, and able to multitask and be a team player while also occasionally taking leadership roles when required.

SKILLS

Possess highly developed skills in core design programs with knowledge of the overall design process from concept development to final print production digital output, including editing and file management skills.

DELEGATE

Be able to delegate responsibilities to vendors and be able to continuously manage them to achieve the department's goals.

TEAMWORK

Possess a high-energy, collaborative spirit eager to work with an effective team of marketers committed to building the business.

DEGREE

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design - required
