Graphic Designer

Sōsh seeks an enthusiastic Graphic Designer to help our team conceptualize and carry out a variety of creative efforts.

You will be an integral part of developing and implementing the creative and design aspects of our marketing plans to reach targets from brand and web development to product promotion and influencer marketing.

A graphic designer in this role must be a highly capable and creative professional. You should understand and keep up with evolving marketing practices and trends to generate creative ideas that will elevate our business. It is also critical that you be well-versed in today’s specialized graphic design concepts, principles, and tactics.

  • Design experience - Minimum 3 years of professional experience as in-house or agency graphic designer
  • Education requirements - Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field Artistic ability - Has proven ability to create designs that are aesthetically interesting, engaging, and appealing to clients and consumers
  • Design decision abilities - Able to make all creative design decisions regarding color, size, and layout of product packages to ensure quality branding and marketing — with the ability to think of new approaches for communicating ideas to consumers
  • Computer-based design skills - Has the know-how to handle all aspects of layout, color selection, typeface selection, digital image retouching, and computer-based design
  • Software experience - Has strong software skills within Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office with experience in MailChimp, HubSpot, or other EMM platforms
  • Collaborative design tools - Has exposure and familiarity with collaborative design tools like Figma and Sketch
  • User experience knowledge - Is an expert in designing original experiences across web and mobile interfaces, with strong knowledge of responsive design
  • Communication skills - Able to communicate clearly with team members, vendors, and other designers to ensure designs accurately and effectively convey information
  • Time-management skills - Can effectively manage and prioritize work on multiple projects at once, often with intersecting deadlines
  • Collaboration and balance - Able to collaborate effectively to conceive designs while still maintaining corporate brand identity and consistently meeting deadlines and requirements
  • Knowledge-seeking - Demonstrates the drive to continuously evolve with design industry practices, trends, and software
  • Other traits - Is outgoing, proactive, communicative, and team-oriented
  • Bonus points - Any additional experiences, certificates, or pieces of training are not required but are always an added bonus
