The Goodman Group is hiring a Graphic Designer to join their Marketing team. The Graphic Designer plays an integral role in the success of our team, our community and creating a place our residents are proud to call home. The primary purpose of this position is to supporting brand objectives through engaging, effective visual communication across print, digital, and multimedia platforms. Creating content for brochures and signage, social media & websites, while maintaining consistency across all outlets.

This position is full-time, based at the home office located in Chaska, MN with potential of hybrid flexibility after a minimum of 3 months in office.

Essential Job Functions

  • Design and produce multi-channel marketing materials—including brochures, digital ads, social media graphics, signage, email campaigns, and presentations—that align with brand strategy and business goals.
  • Support web design and content maintenance, including layout updates and optimization of visual assets for performance and accessibility.
  • Develop and present creative concepts for branding, logo design, and promotional campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team and internal stakeholders to deliver compelling, on-brand visual content that drives engagement and supports campaigns.
  • Prepare accurate, print-ready files and ensure production quality across vendors and media formats.
  • Design internal and external communication materials, such as recruitment assets, event collateral, and PowerPoint decks brand alignment.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing timelines, priorities, and feedback in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay up to date on creative trends, emerging digital tools, and industry best practices, particularly in senior living, health care, and residential services.
  • Provide occasional support for light HTML edits, templated content updates, and other digital production tasks.
  • Participate in collaborative ideation sessions and contribute fresh, strategic design ideas.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support marketing initiatives.

Knowledge and Critical Skills

  • Be able to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
  • Deal tactfully with personnel, prospects, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
  • Capable of working with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people within the facility.
  • Communicate effectively in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with supervisors, team members, prospects, residents, and families.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat)
  • Familiarity with Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Canva is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of web and email design best practices, and basic HTML/CSS.
  • Ability to provide portfolio showcasing a range of both print and digital design work.
  • An understanding of branding, visual storytelling, and marketing goals
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take feedback and refine concepts.
  • High attention to detail and strong sense of layout, color, typography, and composition.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field preferred; associate degree with equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional design experience, ideally in an in-house or agency marketing environment.
  • Minimum of 3 Years Experience working in or designing for senior living, health care, or hospitality is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 Years Experience creating assets for web, mobile, and social platforms.

Wage: $56K-$67K, based on experience.

Shift: Day Shift, Monday-Friday in Chaska, MN home office.

Term: Full-time
