Position Description:

While the instructional designer we seek should have a solid foundation in all aspects of instructional design for online teaching and learning, their primary responsibility will be creating animations and graphic designs for our various online products.

This is an independent contractor opportunity with a 20-40-hour weekly commitment required. Salary range commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging animations to be placed in instructional videos 
  • Produce high quality charts and graphs explaining complex legal processes 
  • Conceptualize, storyboard, and build instructionally sound, interactive, engaging web-based course components using e-learning authoring tools

Skill & Education Requirements:

  • Significant experience with Vyond (Go Animate) animation platform, as well as at least one other animation tool 
  • Strong graphic design skills, including proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or similar graphic design software 
  • Experience creating e-learning content 
  • Exceptionally strong attention to detail 
  • Willingness to learn new technology 
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks 
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced graphic design skills
  • Experience creating e-learning content
  • Adobe Animate skills
  • Experience with video/audio editing tools is a plus
  • Experience in law, legal education, or higher education is a plus
