About the Role:

Boston Scientific is looking for a self-motivated and engaged leader and team player who is passionate about driving collaboration and overseeing highly productive cross-functional partnerships. In this Rhythm Management Marketing Services role, we seek a leader excited about connecting customers to our teams though virtual and live events, driving efficiencies across our marketing operations function, and helping to set the strategies for the RM/IC/PI Media Center. This leader should have demonstrated experience in some of these areas with a proven history of translating the needs of our internal and external customers into actionable processes and procedures. They should have demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business conditions/plans while continuing to be proactive and drive projects to completion.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Build a high-performance Marketing Services team; recruiting, selecting, training and developing top talent. 
  • Ensure alignment of direct reports' annual performance objectives and support individual development plans. Set clear, high standards for performance and hold direct reports accountable for results. Measure individual performance and provides feedback and developmental coaching. 
  • Set strategic direction for the Marketing Services organization; work with the team to formulate actionable, comprehensive business plans to achieve objectives. 
  • Oversee the execution of the Marketing Services business plans through appropriate strategies, tactics and action plans. Develop annual operational budget for the team and ensure the availability of resources required for plan execution. 
  • Identify, analyze, and recommend franchise business development opportunities. 
  • Foster a 'never arrive' mindset among team members to ensure a continuous improvement approach to the business. 
  • Leverage industry, market, clinical and cross-functional experience and knowledge to remove obstacles and solve project issues. 
  • Develop personal, and facilitates team's development of, relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders, influencers and decision-makers. Coach the team in effectively navigating through and capitalizing on the organizational matrix.

  • Lead a group or team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals. Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports while driving best practices throughout their organization.

  • Undergraduate degree required 
  • 7+ years of marketing experience required 
  • Excellent coaching, personnel development and leadership skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Medical Device experience required 
  • Demonstrated record of success and leadership
