This key leader will work with the Conagra Leadership team to shape the next phase of eCommerce growth for Conagra. This leader will build on the current momentum to develop the 3.0 vision for accelerating growth. This will include working with existing channels and partners and identifying new opportunities and business models to drive growth. This leader will have the opportunity to operate the P&L for pure-play eCommerce. The head of eCommerce will be the thought-leader for eCommerce and be externally focused in understanding the general consumer and retailer/eTail trends impacting the business. This position plays a leadership role, coordinating with other key stakeholder groups - sales, supply chain, media, shopper marketing and our agency partners to ensure that the necessary actions occur in support of the ecommerce business. Firm champion of the business while putting the customer first.

This performance marketer will also play a key leadership role with our retail/eTail partners by demonstrating our eCommerce expertise and identifying opportunities to partner and grow our eCommerce business and theirs. This job requires strategic skill, authentic leadership, out-of-the-box thinking, and a highly-developed set of digital/conversion marketing and general management skills that translate into successfully driving demand, share and profit results.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop channel-specific growth plans consistent with the overall ecommerce strategy and enterprise-level priorities 
  • Develop and implement new commercial models (B2B, DTC, subscription, etc.) 
  • Develops eCommerce business plan and manages P&L against goals; including annual budget for marketing/promotional activities 
  • Oversee strategy, creative direction, timing and execution of eCommerce related activities including: digital marketing, digital shelf product representation, merchandising,  program/offer testing, content generation, online promotions/offers and new media/technologies 
  • Collaborate directly with Insights, Sales, Shopper Marketing, Supply Chain, Brand teams, vendors and agencies to achieve strategic objectives, test/implement programs, and maximize sales 
  • Foster the growth of retailer relationships through knowledge sharing, joint planning and finding opportunities to test, learn and grow eCommerce together. Understand customers’ unique business models and establish a growth plan that leverages the unique aspects of those different models. 
  • Enhance Conagra’s eCommerce capabilities by keeping connected to  leading practices, industry news, technologies, trends and opportunities. 
  • Inspire and educate internal teams,agency partnersand retailers 
  • Evolve measurement processes and guidelines for eCommerce performance (sales, digital shelf integrity, performance marketing, etc.). Ability to leverage data to drive new ideas and optimize results. 
  • Collaborate with marketing suppliers such as content management and ad agencies 
  • Nurture and Develop a diverse, industry-leading eCommerce team 
  • Responsible for maintaining retailer's online content catalog 
  • Coordinate activities across pure-play and omni-channel retailers 
  • Support engagement with emerging retailers

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Marketing or related fields) 
  • 10+ years of digital marketing experience (performance marketing, search, online advertising, social) with a minimum of 4+ years of eTail management experience required 
  • 3+ years of people management experience 
  • Business leader with a commitment to results and ability to see the big picture as it relates to Conagra’s business overall and eCommerce specifically 
  • An ability to operate at a high-level and keep the team focused to deliver results 
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies and best practices, including those related to eTail management, digital marketing and eCommerce operations 
  • Experience with key eCommerce partners 
  • Proven business planning and P&L management experience 
  • Ability to coach and successfully lead and manage a team 
  • Interpersonal skills and strong customer relationship skills
