SINGULAR PURPOSE:

Support day-to-day HR (human resource) needs/activities.

DUTIES:

  • Manage and coordinate the onboarding process for new employees to include HR forms, payroll forms, and benefit enrollment using the ADP platform
  • Manage and coordinate the offboarding process for employees leaving the organization including COBRA documentation using the ADP platform
  • Support and coordinate, in conjunction with the hiring manger, the recruiting process including job posting, candidate search, candidate reach outs, coordinating interviews, and follow-ups
  • Maintain and manage all employee records in a compliant, orderly manner
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures that are compliant with all Federal & State laws
  • Serve as the back-up for payroll processing and tracking as needed 
  • Assist company leadership with HR related projects and needs – both short and long-term 
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned to include miscellaneous accounting and general administrative tasks

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES:

  • Two or more years of human resources experience working with employee benefits and human resources processes, forms and systems 
  • Comfort learning and using new technology and computer-based resources 
  • Experience with or capability of rapidly learning ADP Workforce Now 
  • Knowledge of and comfort with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Commitment to extreme confidentiality 
  • Ability to build interpersonal relations with vendors and co-workers 
  • Collaborative spirit 
  • Proactive mindset; positive attitude 
  • Time management and detail accuracy Professional, mature and personable 
  • Professional dependability, reliability, and trustworthiness Good oral and written communications skills 
  • Accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll experience preferred 
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
