ROLE: Influencer Strategist

PURPOSE: The Influencer Strategist is passionate about the creativity, variety and opportunity social media and influencer marketing brings to brands. This role incorporates creative passion with strong business sense, strategy and a deep understanding of how sustained influencer marketing campaigns can be executed and leveraged to shine a light on our client’s brands and move their businesses forward.

As an integral part of our integrated account teams, this role leads all influencer marketing campaigns and collaborates closely with Lola Red’s Public Relations, Digital and Account leads to create compelling and tailored brand awareness strategies for Lola Red’s clients. This role will also support social media and content promotion strategies.

The ideal candidate will be able to leverage expertise and creativity in working with our clients to develop strategy, execution and measurement plans that drive results.

Influencer Marketing:

  • Develop best-in-class influencer marketing campaigns for a variety of clients and oversee strategy, concept, execution, and measurement 
  • Day-to-day campaign management including creator list development, contracts, budget management, onboarding, content requests and approvals, tracking and reporting. Strong project management skills and attention to detail are a must. Familiarity with creator management platforms is a plus 
  • Implement insights and trends-led campaign strategies with an up-to-date understanding of best practices across all major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest and TikTok 
  • Establish realistic social media KPIs that align with business objectives and constantly develop insights with data and analytics that identify clear takeaways and learnings. Uncover insights and develop actionable recommendations for how to optimize and move the Lola Red clients forward based on performance 
  • Participate in weekly departmental meetings to align public relations department, measure success, identify areas of concern and establish necessary solutions 
  • Maintain and educate public relations team surrounding effective and strategic public relations writing and messaging practices 
  • Work with Account teams to achieve KPIs for specific client accounts to ensure client satisfaction, growth and retention 
  • Act as a mentor and guide to all members of the public relations team to help them grow personally and professionally 


  • Lead and manage internal team in support of successful execution of influencer marketing campaigns 
  • Participate in weekly departmental meetings to align influencer, PR and digital departments. 
  • Work with team to measure success, identify process improvement areas and provide solutions and workarounds where needed 
  • Work with Account team to achieve KPIs and show ROI for specific client accounts to ensure client satisfaction, growth and retention

Business Development:

  • Work with the new business team to establish strategic campaigns for pitching to new and existing clients 
  • Close or help to close new business opportunities through the development and execution of presentations and proposals 
  • Research and monitor client’s business, competitors and industry to grow knowledge base and identify upsell opportunities


  • Maintain knowledge on client budget and allotted hours to effectively manage and complete projects while maintaining profitability 
  • Effectively manage influencer partnership relationships 
  • Ensure client KPIs are met and tracked through regular and consistent reporting


  • 3-5 years of influencer marketing experience. Familiarity with social media strategies, paid promotion and public relations strategies is a plus 
  • 3+ years prior agency experience 
  • Demonstrated experience leading + managing influencer marketing campaigns and across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, SnapChat, Pinterest and TikTok 
  • Bachelor’s degree. Degree in public relations, strategic communications, digital marketing and/or communications a plus 
  • Understanding of influencer campaign management platforms, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager and other digital marketing tools a plus 
  • Strong project management and budgeting skills 
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously in a client-centric, fast-paced and results driven environment
