We offer a unique perspective into the world of food manufacturing with a 10–12-week paid internship in our Brand Marketing team at our Corporate Americas HQ in Northbrook, IL. As a key player on the team, the Brand Marketing Intern will be exposed to several core competencies within the Market Research job function.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic – Assess the strategic relevance of how to best reach our Amber target – ie what type of marketing programs to best reach Amber. Also what are potential out of box thinking ideas to reach Amber and through what channels? Deliver strategic reco for how to best reach Amber audience. 
  • Analytic – Look at ROI on various brand activations to identify what makes sense for the business. Help support launch of future innovation projects. 
  • Creative – Lead photoshoot for new product static ads, including recipe development and on-shoot management 
  • Sales Management – work on project with in collaboration with trade management – ie promotional collateral or potential brand activation 
  • Collaborate with key cross-functional partners including Market Research, Shopper Marketing, Packaging, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales 
  • Manage agency and partnership relationships.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • MBA student with a Marketing focus 
  • Passion for CPG Food marketing, especially natural foods 
  • Strong analytic ability, with desire to leverage data into insights for establishment of strategy 
  • Self starter, entrepreneurial spirit, good time management and open communication style 
  • Ability to manage timelines and lead cross functional peers 
  • Understanding of marketing concepts – including 4 P’s and basic marketing frameworks
