The Marketing Intern will work with a team to develop marketing content and implement promotional campaigns to generate leads and increase brand awareness and demand of Zurn products. As part of the Marketing internship program, you will be given the opportunity to work as part of the Marketing Communications team with specific project responsibilities, access to mentors, and create Marketing initiatives that will be implemented into the business. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple departments, and gain exposure to Marketing Communications, Product Marketing, Creative Services, Product Training, Sales and other internal departments. As a Marketing Communications Intern team member, you will assist in projects relevant to the development and execution of our core Marketing competencies and strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Marketing team members to research, identify, and create marketing content (photography, case studies, testimonials, newsletters, etc.) 
  • Pull reports and assist with the creation of dashboards that measure the effectiveness of our marketing communications and communicate the results to key stakeholders 
  • Utilize data and analytics to A/B test and optimize campaigns across various digital platforms 
  • Assist in the coordination and communication of the rollout of new products across digital, PR, and media 
  • Conduct general market and competitive research as needed 
  • Assist with special market research projects and analyze data where necessary 
  • Assist in voice-of-customer research to help identify customer needs and product changes 
  • Collaborate with digital marketing analysts and utilize web content tools to assist with the update of web pages 
  • Assist with and execute social media strategies 
  • Maintain multiple projects, at different phases in their life cycle, moving forward through completion 
  • Manage the PEX certification process 
  • Carry out special projects as needed

Experience and Skill Required:

  • Must currently be pursuing a Bachelor's degree 
  • GPA of 3.5 or higher strongly preferred 
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 
  • Basic Photoshop skills preferred but not required 
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills 
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and in team environments 
  • Able to work 40 hrs per week during the summer, and 15-20 hrs during the school year 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
