Intern, Member Communications & Engagement
Twin Cities Metro
Eagan (Hybrid), MN

How Is This Role Important to Our Work?

  • Assess communications materials as part of the holistic member experience 
  • Identify opportunities to deliver the right message, in the right channel, at the right time, to the right patient or healthcare professional. You will gain experience developing actionable, data-based insights and strategic recommendations. 
  • Prepare summaries of findings and recommendations to deliver on key performance indicators and to identify process improvements. 
  • Support improvements to communication channels for increased engagement, timeliness and relevance of information related to the member experience.

Required Skills And Experience:

  • Undergraduate student or recent college graduate 
  • Interest and basic knowledge of data management, user experience, content strategy, healthcare communications 
  • Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office, and a willingness to learn other software tools 
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member 
  • Demonstrated organization skills to manage work that engages stakeholders and drives to outcomes. 
  • Hybrid work model both at home and in person. Potential for occasional local travel for meeting purposes.

Nice To Have:

  • Communications, Marketing, Media & Journalism, MIS, Psychology, Computer Science related major or degree 
  • Previous professional experience helpful but not necessary 
  • Interest in health care or customer experience helpful but not necessary.
