Intern

6AM Marketing, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, positive, fun and outgoing intern to assist us in research, new business efforts, proposal creation, strategy and additional tasks as assigned. We are estimating approximately 15 to 20 hours a week from start date at least through the summer. We are happy to work around your school schedule providing that you can give us time in 2 to 4 hour increments.

Based on business, this could include several more hours during the summer months.

All candidates that apply should have some previous work experience in a marketing position or equivalent schooling.  You will need transportation to get to our office located at: 2901 West Beltline Highway Suite 300, Madison, WI, just off of the Todd Drive exit.

Our ideal intern would be able to complete the following:

• Research. Ability to use the Internet to conduct thoughtful research for clients and prospects. This market research could include, but is not limited to: demographics, media analytics, geography, competitor analysis, etc. The documentation could vary from collecting articles, creating power point presentations and/or putting together new business proposals.
• Day-to-day Administration: Ability to handle activities for assigned client projects in a timely manner, documenting the work as you go.
• Presentations: Ability to effectively present, sell and defends the research you have collected.
• Collaboration: Ability to work with account services, creative and digital teams to augment their workload as needed.
• Computer Work: Ability to learn new software and feel confident in Power Point, Word, Excel, etc. Experience with InDesign or Photoshop a plus.

Pay is on an hourly rate and very competitive. Must be able to start immediately.
