Internal Communication Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and creative professional to join our Global Marketing organization as an Internal Communication Specialist. In this mid-career role, you will collaborate closely with C-suite executives and various teams to develop compelling internal video content that effectively communicates our company's messages and objectives to our employees.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business leaders and other key stakeholders to understand their vision, objectives, and messaging requirements for internal communication through videos. 
  • Develop creative concepts, storyboards, and scripts for internal video messaging campaigns that align with the company's culture, values, and strategic goals. 
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews with executives and subject matter experts to capture key messages and insights to be incorporated into video content. 
  • Manage the end-to-end video production process, including planning, filming, editing, and post-production activities, ensuring high-quality deliverables. 
  • Utilize a range of video production techniques, including animations, motion graphics, and visual effects, to enhance the overall impact and engagement of the videos. 
  • Edit and refine raw footage, adding appropriate transitions, graphics, and sound effects to create visually appealing and impactful videos. 
  • Stay up to date with the latest video production trends, techniques, and technologies, and make recommendations for incorporating them into internal video messaging strategies. 
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to schedule video shoots, manage equipment, and ensure smooth production logistics. 
  • Ensure videos are optimized for various platforms and formats, including web-based platforms, intranet, social media, and internal communication channels. 
  • Collaborate with the communications team and agencies to ensure video messaging aligns with broader internal communication strategies and initiatives. 
  • Monitor and analyze the performance and engagement metrics of internal video content, making data-driven recommendations for improvements and enhancements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, film production, multimedia, or a related field or equivalent career experience 
  • Proven experience in video production, including scriptwriting, storyboarding, filming, editing, and post-production techniques 
  • Strong creative thinking and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to translate complex concepts into engaging video content 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal stakeholders, while managing concurrent projects and deadlines 
  • Familiarity with internal communication strategies and tools, and understanding of the importance of clear and consistent messaging within organizations 
  • Knowledge of industry best practices for video production, including current trends and emerging technologies 
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality video content within established timelines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Spanish as we operate in a diverse and global environment 
  • A portfolio or work samples showcasing previous video production projects
