We are seeking an Internal Communications Manager to join our North American Communications Team in Burr Ridge, IL. The candidate will be responsible to support internal efforts and campaigns across the region, ensuring that global messaging is effectively transmitted at regional level, as well as developing region-appropriate Human Resources communications. The role will report to the Head of Communications North America.

The ideal candidate will work from Burr Ridge, IL. This position is eligible for HYBRID flexible work arrangements!

Responsibilities:

  • Represent Communications with the Human Resources leadership team to ensure key initiatives are supported in a strategic and impactful manner; initiatives may include Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Experience, and Diversity & Inclusion 
  • Serve as a trusted partner and advisor to the Human Resources leadership team to understand the communications needs and translate HR priorities into messaging to help drive employee awareness, engagement, and action as well as business results 
  • Formulate customized communication plans, and tactics and generate content to advance HR and workforce-related initiatives and programs 
  • Support the storytelling and content development for HR initiatives 
  • Ensure the overall communications approach and deliverables align with Corporate Communications standard processes and priorities, and reflect the company strategy, culture and values 
  • Prepare executive communications on HR-related content 
  • Collaborate with fellow global Communication team members on key projects, including but not limited to content creation for the company intranet, newsletters, employee magazines, etc. 
  • Help to build multimedia content for campaigns 
  • Track and handle ongoing projects

Position Pays $102,000 to $156,000. (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role.)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Humanities, Business, Social Science, or related field 
  • Eight (8) to ten (10) years’ experience in communications, writing, marketing, media relations or a directly related field (in-house or communications consultancy)
