We Are Hiring: Internal Communications Manager

As Marketing & Communications Manager, you will manage and implement internal communications programs to support Ascension’s technology teams, including information technology (IT).

This position will be located at our Consumer Digital Studio at 200S. Wacker Drive in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood.

What You Will Do

As an Internal Communications Manager, you will manage and implement internal communications programs to support Ascension’s technology teams, including information technology (IT).

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as communications lead for employee, frontline caregiver and provider outreach and engagement 
  • Develop strategic plan, positioning, messaging and communications tactics and materials for internal and external audiences that align with business goals 
  • Advise and support leaders in proactively engaging employees in the strategy, technology adoption and culture change 
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, challenges and solutions to product adoption, and help lead and drive corrective action 
  • Employ creative approaches to engage stakeholder audiences, including change and relationship management 
  • Lead stewardship of the Ascension brand within the organization and with external audiences in the market and service area 
  • Measure effectiveness and adjust plans accordingly to support desired outcomes 
  • Work with colleagues within the Marketing and Communications team to execute strategic plan, identify influential channels and implement tactics 
  • Develop creative, strategic content that supports proactive storytelling

What You Will Need

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required. Journalism or Communications degree preferred.

Work Experience:

  • 3 years of experience required. 
  • 5 years of experience preferred. 
  • 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred.
