Internal Communications Manager

Job Purpose:

The Manager of Internal Communications will develop and execute an internal communications program that drives our culture, promotes education, and raises awareness for ICE’s vision and strategy. Theywill be charged with creating content for a global employee base of nearly 10,000 located in more than 20 countries.


  • Create and execute content to help educate employee base about our evolving and diverse businesses and drive company culture across channels including email, web and video 
  • Produce and manage content for employee intranet 
  • Work closely with other teams to stay informed of new initiatives and communication needs 
  • Team with key partners in the organization to ensure that the internal communications plans are aligned with company policies and consistent across business lines 
  • Coordinate with ICE Information Security and Compliance to ensure messaging and content are consistent with our communication guidelines, regulatory and confidentiality requirements 
  • Ensure that organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders 
  • Track and analyze metrics to determine most successful tactics and evolve communications accordingly 
  • Oversee execution of employee survey; analyze and share results; help determine and execute on appropriate follow up actions.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or Communications or related field is required 
  • 5 or more years’ experience in an internal communications role 
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, public speaking, and listening skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities, meetings, and deadlines 
  • Strong writing and copyrighting skills 
  • Web design and HTML experience 
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams
