Job Purpose:

The Manager of Internal Communications will develop and execute an internal communications program that drives our culture, promotes education, and raises awareness for ICE’s vision and strategy. He/she will be charged with creating content for a global employee base of 5,000 located in more than 20 countries.

Responsibilities:

  • Help educate employee base about our evolving and diverse businesses and drive company culture through concise content across channels including email, web and video 
  • Produce and manage content for employee intranet 
  • Work closely with other teams to stay informed of new initiatives and communication needs 
  • Team with key partners in the organization to ensure that the internal communications plans are aligned with company policies and consistent across business lines 
  • Coordinate with ICE Information Security and Compliance to ensure messaging and content are consistent with our communication guidelines, regulatory and confidentiality requirements 
  • Ensure that organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders 
  • Track and analyze metrics to determine most successful tactics and evolve communications accordingly

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or Communications or related field is required 
  • 5 or more years’ experience in an internal communications role 
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, public speaking, and listening skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities, meetings, or exceeding deadlines 
  • Work skills / general skills: Strong writing and copyrighting, ability to produce written, graphic, web-based and video communications, proficiency in PowerPoint and Sharepoint, basic aptitude in HTML, Slack
