Your Skills and Expertise:
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years of executive, business, or internal communications in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, public relations, business administration, or journalism (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Seven (7) years of Corporate or Business Communications in a private, public, government, or military environment
- Strong collaboration skills are desired
- Ability to translate technical language into storytelling communication
- Ability to translate strategic plan into execution of detailed tactical Communication Plan
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to persuade others in matrix environment.
