The Role:

Reporting to the Manager, Internal Communications, the Internal Communications Specialist will be critical to driving employee engagement, building belief in our business and leaders, and championing an inclusive, high-performing culture. Some of the exciting work you’ll do includes modernizing our internal communication channels, establishing an employer brand, supporting our HR teams, and deepening employees’ connection to CCC. The role will also support day-to-day execution of employee communication efforts. This is a face-paced individual contributor role involving creative writing, innovative thinking, project management, editing, design, and content management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of CCC’s internal communications strategy, including but not limited to updating intranet, drafting newsletters, writing stories, and managing editorial calendar. 
  • Find opportunities to celebrate our people and connect them with our vision, mission, values, and strategy through communications. 
  • Collaborate with Inclusion, Diversity & Equity and Benefits teams to craft timely, relevant stories that build employees connection to CCC. 
  • Support company's internal communication tools, ensuring they are up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with the company's goals and values. 
  • Support internal events coordination including Town Halls and all employee events/meetings. 
  • Establish metrics and track communications to identify key learnings, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field. 
  • 2-3 years in fast-paced corporate communications or related role. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. 
  • Demonstrated experience writing and editing internal communications to enterprise-wide employee audiences. 
  • Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, such as intranet systems, email marketing software, and content management systems. 
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Independent and results oriented, with a strong work ethic, tenacity and a persistent approach. 
  • An interest in storytelling, with the ability to turn sophisticated information into engaging content. 
  • Experience developing content for diverse audiences.
