The role entails the creation and refinement of communication materials in support of the company’s Internal Communications department in North America.

Internal Communications is a strategic function within CNH Industrial with responsibility for executive communications and the company’s key communication channels. Through campaigns, communication materials, ad hoc presentations, videos and publications, Internal Communications delivers corporate messages to the employee audience and fosters a shared company culture.

The position entails the production of high quality, engaging content for the department’s communication tools, including articles for the Intranet, newsletters, employee magazine, PPT presentations and campaigns. It requires working alongside team members in North America, and in collaboration with colleagues across the global Internal Communications team, to produce communications that meet the company’s overall strategic goals. This role reports to the head of Internal Communications for North America.

A successful candidate will be a true communicator, who enjoys words and finding the best way to convey a message so that it is easy to comprehend, targeted to its audience and takes on the right emotional tone.

Responsibilities:

  • Write original content and edit for multiple channels (Intranet, employee magazine, newsletters, campaigns) 
  • Enhance visual presentation of communication materials to ensure effectiveness 
  • Cultivate network of internal contacts for continuous sourcing of content 
  • Contribute ideas for communications initiatives to support ongoing employee engagement activities 
  • Provide editorial support to internal functions and businesses for their specific communications needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English or related field 
  • 2+ years' experience in communications 
  • In lieu of degree, 6 years experience in a communications role with a focus on content creation/writing

The preferred candidate will have experience:

  • Copywriting, editing and visual presentation skills 
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint design; knowledge of photo editing/basic design concepts
