Under the direction of the IT Manager, the Information Technology Programmer/Analyst works with users and management to design, develop, test and implement software to meet the ongoing needs of the Company. This position engages Information Technology. Programmer/Analyst(s) as needed to work independently on small and mid-sized projects, as well as assist with larger projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Programmer/Analyst(s) will work with users and management to assess software needs and system requirements. 
  • Formulate and communicate ideas for software to help solve business problems. 
  • Train, lead and direct the work of Information Technology. 
  • Programmer/Analyst(s): Design, develop, test, implement and support new custom-written software, as well as modify and support existing software. 
  • Recommend and help implement server, network, PCs and other hardware required to support software. 
  • Work with PC/Network Technician on the administration of servers and databases.
  • Monitor existing software and increase performance as needed. 
  • Train users on new and existing software. 
  • Provide 24-7 support by carrying a pager on a rotating schedule with other team members of the IT Department.

Requirements:

  • 2-year Associate Degree in Computer Information Systems. 
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and interpersonal. 
  • Excellent problem solving and mathematical skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail. 
  • Prioritize projects and tasks to achieve required results. 
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn Company-specific systems. 
  • Work with multiple disciplines and create solutions to meet required deadlines. 
  • Self-motivated learner. 
  • Confidence and professionalism in representing the Company. 
  • Willingness to be a team player. 
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurability. 
  • Knowledge of Distributed System design concepts. 
  • Experience with the following software development technologies: JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Web Sockets, Angular.js, XML/XSD/XSLT. 
  • Experience with the following databases: MySQL, Redis, CouchDB. 
  • Experience with GIT code repositories. Experience with Unit Testing.
  • Compensation is base on experience.
