Serves as a Graphic Designer for BCU who is responsible for assisting in designing marketing solutions that best meet business needs and bringing experiences to life across multiple mediums. Assist member of the marketing team with specific aspects of the production campaigns for BCU and our Company Partners.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the in-house marketing creative team from concept through production for campaigns – both email and direct mail, events, video editing, animations, digital advertising, presentations, signage, web page layouts, logos, slides, corporate communications, etc. 
  • Resize/Reformat approved designs to fit various other channels and formats, while following brand standards. 
  • Assist in maintaining all brand assets both external and internal, including brand standards and visual identity both for BCU and our company partners. 
  • Collaborate with marketing, product owners and various internal teams across all levels of the organization to support business objectives. 
  • Work cross-functionally within the organization and ensure brand compliance among all assets, designs, layouts, and templates. 
  • Collaborate to create visually appealing materials, including PowerPoint presentations, visually communicating the strategic vision, and representing the organization as the Credit Union for America's best workplaces. 
  • Maintain the company store by partnering closely with the vendor. 
  • Uphold our "internal agency" process and expectations for quality, consistency, and timeliness of deliverables. 
  • Run projects through User Testing, report findings back to team with recommendations. 
  • Create and upload digital artwork to internal channels. 
  • Collaborate with the team to solidify visual standards, design expectations, and brand consistency. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design 
  • 1-3+ years of experience in design, either client-side or with an agency 
  • A portfolio of past design work including print, web, and digital design 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities 
  • Demonstrates ability to work both collaboratively and independently 
  • Demonstrates ability to take direction and receive constructive feedback 
  • Has working knowledge of printing processes 
  • Demonstrated passion for marketing, design, and digital technology 
  • Highly proficiency with Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft PowerPoint
  •  Adobe After Effects, Multimedia Design and Video Editing are considered a plus
