ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Attend kick-off meetings where assignments are shared in the form of a creative brief, from our own embedded marketers, who articulate communication goals and other important details
- Ask questions to ensure there is enough consumer insight, supported by strategy, to write compelling copy.
Develop relevant, fresh and strategic ideas—on time—in collaboration with an assigned Art Director, in a fast-paced environment
Write copy for a wide range of medium, including but not limited to web, digital, social, TV/video, radio, print, newsletters, and long-format, printed materials
- Your skills will also be used on the St. Thomas and One St. Thomas websites (so knowledge of SEO is a big plus, but not a must)
Develop a base of knowledge across all areas of St. Thomas, including undergraduate admissions, Opus College of Business, College of Arts and Sciences, School of Engineering, School of Education, the Morrison Family College of Health, the Dougherty Family College and the School of Law
