The Lead - Agency Relations and Growth is a highly collaborative member of the North American Growth Office focused upon strategic execution for agency relationships. As the keeper of this crucial component the Lead will own agency partnerships at the Kraft Heinz level and work to evolve our agency model in a way that supports the Kraft Heinz growth agenda. Through performance assessments - crafting retainers - and building new capability areas for internal and external agency relationships the Lead will play a key role in building the Kraft Heinz culture of creativity.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Recommend areas for capability growth/expansion and recommend/RFP partners for inclusion on KHC agency roster 
  • Collaborate to craft and build new capability growth avenues for The Kitchen - the Kraft Heinz internal agency. 
  • Partner with Procurement and Brand Communications teams to implement Agency Relations strategy - including creative excellence and compensation models 
  • Shape agency SOWs/Retainers with Brand Communications & Procurement teams - design & drive new pilot programs 
  • Drive engagement with agency partners via creative excellence programs and competitive compensation
  • Bachelor’s Degree required 
  • 5+ years of proven experience driving understanding of the dynamics at play in agency relationships - ideally on both the agency and client side 
  • Knowledge of the creative and agency industry with understanding of the nuances of various types of agencies/holding companies and creative performance of those agencies 
  • A strong understanding of how agencies - ways of working and creative outputs support business strategy and outcomes 
  • Strong people and negotiating skills that will enable the forging of new agency relationships via new pilots - programs - etc. 
  • Excellent communications and collaboration skills to drive contractual negotiations utilizing North America Comms and procurement counterparts
