As a Creative Strategist at Kolla, the in-house creative group at Vital Proteins, you’ll play a critical role in leading the work and workflow of creative projects that include paid media, owned social, PR and activations. As a newly formed in-house creative team, we’re in transitional phase are looking for someone who is energized by helping us shape how we operate and continue to grow the Vital Proteins brand and business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You’ll lead the project definition and design phases including creative brief development and kick off, creative concepting and reviews, feedback and revisions, pre-production, and reporting. 
  • You’ll play a support role, in partnership with project management and production, in the execution and post-production phases. 
  • Recognize and nurture bold creative that will differentiate and grow the Vital Proteins brand. 
  • Work closely with the external media partner on media planning and reporting. 
  • Review and collaborate with creative teams to guide work that’s on-brand and supports defined marketing objective(s), and fits the timing and budget parameters. 
  • Collaborate on deck building and presenting. 
  • Partner with project managers on timeline development and adherence. 
  • As the key relationship contact, you’ll establish and foster strong collaboration between the marketing/consumer engagement teams and the creative studio. 
  • Lead with empathy, transparency, and kindness. We are people-first, which means we take care of each other in order to take care of our business.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience, most likely in an agency setting in account management or brand strategy roles. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience is required.

Skills:

  • You’ve led integrated campaigns and teams that include paid, earned and owned media. 
  • Deep familiarity and experience leading production including broadcast/video production. 
  • Ideally, you’ve developed new processes to support emerging needs, but at a minimum, you’ve worked closely with project managers using to ensure projects stay on-track throughout the lifecycle of the project. 
  • Extensive experience collaborating with creative teams, media, production, and senior marketing leads. 
  • You’ve managed budgets and can navigate at times complex financial processes.
