Lead Multimedia Editor

About the role:

The Lead Multimedia Editor is a storyteller who uses video as a vehicle for effective and creative communication. This position is responsible for leading the post production process and overseeing the multimedia deliverables with a fast-growing digital marketing team of other video editors, videographers, animators, and creative directors. Video projects produced at PKA range from simple social videos to product videos to live streaming content to broadcast commercials, mostly used for business-to-business marketing. You will be joining a dynamic and enthusiastic team developing innovative content in an ever-changing digital landscape.

What you’ll do:

• Use the Adobe suite to craft engaging videos from original footage with tight turnaround times
• Implement motion graphics for most videos
• Polish projects with titles, color grading and sound design
• Keep projects meticulously organized
• Ensure industry standards are being executed properly
• Work closely with different phases of production to leverage the budget and to identify new ways to shoot photography that will create agility and flexibility in the marketing pipeline
• Produce multiple projects at one time

Who you are:

• Collaborative, highly motivated and action oriented yet able to work independently with minimal supervision toward aggressive deadlines. 
• Must be proficient in Premiere Pro and After Effects 
• Have a strong understanding and execution of video and graphic production workflows, asset management, storage, and archive. 
• Ability to multitask 
• Problem-solve in a quick and efficient manner

Reports to:

• Video/Multimedia Content Director

Five (5) or more years of related experience in video and motion editing.
