As NBF continues to invest in eCommerce and add new technologies, we're looking for somebody who is just as eager to apply their web development experience in an impactful way. As a team-based and highly collaborative company, the Web Developer will have the opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders across crucial departments, including IT, Merchandising, Business Intelligence, and Marketing.

The ideal candidate will be energized about exploring new technologies and tools that will drive our business. Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills are a must in this highly-collaborative, team environment. Alongside web development tasks, this person will serve as the team Scrum Master to reinforce the Agile mindset in different projects.

Here's a General Overview of What You'll Be Doing:

  • Web development on Insite Commerce and a custom .Net application 
  • Serve as the team Scrum Master, reinforcing the Agile mindset 
  • Maintain code integrity and organization 
  • Maintain knowledge of code versioning tools 
  • Work with advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks 
  • Work with server-side languages 
  • Maintain quality and ensure the performance of applications

What We're Looking For:

Minimum of Professional Scrum Master (PSM) 1 Certification

Strong knowledge of development methodologies, requirements analysis, and design techniques

Strong general eCommerce experience

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

A drive to complete work both accurately and in a timely manner

A natural problem solver who can work in a team environment to move a product forward

Experience in the following:

  • JavaScript - 3+ years
  • Git - 5+ years
  • SQL - 5+ years
  • C# and .net - 5+ years

Experience integrating third-party components into web applications

Experience architecting AWS solutions

Experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch

Experience developing automated tests with Selenium

SCRUM certification and experience working on an Agile team

It Would Also Be Nice to Have:

  • PSD certification preferred 
  • Experience in a similar industry
