Job Summary:

The Manager, Brand Communications supports brand communications strategic development for the Americas Region, and manages deployment planning and execution for the North America.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Helps author “master communications briefs" with inputs and alignment from the Americas Region to develop communications strategy and brand/product creative concepts. 
  • Distills key category/competitive/consumer insights, brand/product business strategies, best-in-class creative/media practices, and in-market performance analyses into actionable learnings that inform advertising campaign strategies and tactical plans for key promotional periods. 
  • Day-to-day management of creation and delivery of global advertising campaigns (creative, media, PR) and applicable creative assets with external agency partner(s) and internal creative teams, with adherence to brand equity guidelines. 
  • Helps create and deliver a 'toolbox' of communications creative assets and seamlessly deploy to the Regions for flawless in-market execution. 
  • Serves as primary contact for cross-functional team of external and internal agencies and vendor partners in creation and execution of integrated 360 degree omni-channel campaigns. 
  • Collaborates with creative services team and merchandising team for alignment on Brand asset creation and use in campaign deployment. 
  • Provide stewardship in Brand Budget planning, allocations and ROIs. Manages requests and expenditures. 
  • Flexibility and the ability to respond quickly to changing business demands and requests while bringing new ideas to drive change and increase relevance to consumers.

Education and Experience Profile:

An equivalent combination of:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications. 
  • 4+ years experience with brand management and/or agency experience managing product advertising campaigns (brand/strategic planning, brand/product creative development, and media planning and optimization) within a consumer products business (durables, consumables, housewares or personal care business). 
  • Strong digital advertising acumen

Required Skills:

  • Proven record of successfully advancing marketing communications campaigns across channels and markets (e.g., global reach, mass advertising, digital conversion tactics.). 
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work with multiple areas simultaneously, across multiple functions and with disparate people (e.g., creative, strategic, analytical, execution/detailed oriented). 
  • Budget management and project management critical. 
  • Collaboration with Regional and sales groups to distill consumer and customer feedback into relevant messaging and media tactics that help build equity and drive conversion. 
  • Experience with large format retailers 
  • International experience and/or experience in a multi-cultural environment is desirable. 
  • Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time.
