Are you a strategic communicator ready to shape the narrative for a leading transmission-only utility company? American Transmission Company (ATC) is seeking a Manager of Corporate Affairs to join our Customer & Corporate Affairs team.

As our Manager of Corporate Affairs, you'll be at the forefront of ATC's external communications, media relations, and corporate partnerships. This key leadership position will drive our corporate affairs strategy, protect our reputation, and ensure consistent, impactful communication across all channels.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive corporate affairs strategies aligned with ATC's business goals 
  • Lead a team of corporate affairs professionals, overseeing high-quality communication campaigns 
  • Manage our corporate giving program and strategic partnerships 
  • Serve as a key advisor for crisis communications and reputation management 
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on corporate messaging and positioning 
  • Oversee compliance communications, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or corporate affairs 
  • Proven track record in developing successful corporate affairs strategies 
  • Strong understanding of compliance communications, media relations, and sponsorship management 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Experience in crisis communications and reputation management 
  • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members 
  • Proficiency in digital communications tools and analytics software
