The Manager Corporate Communications is responsible for increasing employee engagement and drives a focused effort on corporate growth strategies through impactful communications across multiple media platforms. This role supports company goals and objectives to be recognized as destination employer and is responsible for the creation, development and implementation of communication strategies and programs targeted to employees and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Creatively develop, cascade, manage and execute internal communications strategies utilizing multiple channels, including the Intranet, digital signage, and employee relations campaigns. 
  • Design internal campaigns to generate excitement and employee engagement within Generac. 
  • Work collaboratively with business partners around the globe to develop and deploy internal communications strategies and plans. 
  • Participate in the development of the annual communications calendar and oversee completion of action items and events. 
  • Review communications content supplied by company departments and publish to intranet (PowerNet) or other channels as appropriate 
  • Research communication topics and create verbal, print and electronic employee communications that are informative and engaging to the audience. 
  • Assist in the onboarding and integration of newly acquired organizations. 
  • Conduct reviews and analysis of existing systems and processes. Help drive the deployment of plans and efforts to standardize communications and communications processes across the organization. 
  • Identify, develop and implement processes, as needed, to further improve team efficiency and results. 
  • Program and Event Specific Initiatives Work with event planning teams to execute select employee communications events by serving as project manager. Assist in researching and developing content for senior staff presentations. 
  • Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and identify opportunities to improve communication efforts. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related degree OR equivalent experience. 
  • Experience: 5 years of internal communications and/or public relations experience
