The Manager, Corporate Digital Communications, will support the evolution of Horizon’s digital presence. This role is responsible for planning, execution, and project management around our global corporate website strategy, as well as all ongoing website content authoring updates. We are looking for a highly organized individual with experience in corporate website development, who has proven foundational strategic thinking skills, the ability to project manage multiple ongoing efforts at a time, as well as strong writing, communications, and copy-editing experience.

  • Serve as an expert and strategic partner to the Associate Director, Corporate Digital Communications, supporting the growth of the company’s corporate global website strategy and execution 
  • Coordinate closely with key functional areas and business partners, offering strategic consult as it relates to the company and functional updates and goals, and how key information is presented on the corporate website 
  • Execute ongoing website content authoring of the website in Horizon’s content management system (CMS) CrownPeak, including adding and/or updating timely statements, company news, and regular content refreshes 
  • Manage the relationship with agency partners and vendors to project manage successful development and go-live for large website updates not completed in-house 
  • Administer Horizon’s corporate blog 
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure timely and high-quality project deliverables 
  • Build Horizon’s relevance and reputation with key audiences through website presence, with emphasis on content, user experience (UX), and search engine optimization (SEO) 
  • Maintain ownership of the quality and consistency of web standards, content, and structure for the corporate brand, leveraging the company brand and style guidelines for all website communications 
  • Stay abreast of digital and web trends and leverage existing and emerging technology and platforms to identify opportunities to further evolve Horizon’s presence 
  • Coordinate closely with marketing on related advertising and search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns 
  • Assist with special projects, as needed
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience/deep subject matter expertise in communications (corporate communications preferred) or similar role required 
  • Project management experience working on digital website projects required 
  • Basic experience with CrownPeak, Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, or similar knowledge required 
  • Must be a strategic, creative, and innovative thinker with a strong capacity to project manage, including the ability to analyze information and generate a range of alternative solutions and recommendations 
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing contractors and external agencies 
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills required, including knowledge of AP style 
  • Must be self-motivated with outstanding interpersonal, team, and collaboration skills, taking the initiative to offer out-of-the-box solutions to address challenges independently 
  • Must be proactive and detail-oriented with the skillset to work under pressure on multiple projects with tight deadlines 
  • Must have the aptitude to work with people at various levels of management 
  • Experience with Veeva and the Veeva Promotional Review Committee (PRC) process preferred 
  • Capable of managing through ambiguity 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) UX Design experience a plus Experience within the health care industry and/or creative agency is a plus 
  • Proficient with Photoshop and InDesign a plus
