The Opportunity:

The Manager of Creative Content will join our internal creative team to assist with content support and oversight. Reporting to the Director of creative, this role will be jointly responsible for the development and execution of creative concepts to support several of our global brands or loyalty brands across owned and paid marketing channels. They will also be ensuring flexibility in resources by sourcing, onboarding, and managing contract copywriting support as needed.

They must possess a deep understanding of branding, copywriting, and content strategy with core strengths in communications. They will play an active role in partnering with a variety of teams to deliver fresh and innovative creative solutions (from concept to completion) that support our hotel brands and overall company goals. You will be part of a team passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, committed to nurturing curiosity and new skills and building connections across the organization with stakeholders, colleagues, and guests.

The Role:

The Manager, Creative Content is responsible for leading creative copywriting and editing supporting brand and marketing teams. The Manager of Creative Content will help source and onboard copywriting contractors that execute creative content for B2B and B2C strategies building awareness of Hyatt’s portfolio of global brands and loyalty program. This individual will report to the Director of Creative Services.

  • Source and onboard innovative, solutions-focused, and inclusive contractors executing high-quality concepting and copywriting for various go-to-market initiatives for the World of Hyatt and other global brands. 
  • Build strong relationships with Brand, Marketing, Field Marketing, Digital Content Strategy & Localization, and more to evangelize creative content best practices.
  • Contribute when creative content consultation is required, including kick-off calls and reviews.
  • Maintain strict adherence to established formatting standards, brand tone and voice, corporate guidelines, and Associated Press Style.
  • Balance competing and complementary creative content needs, while synthesizing multiple inputs to create compelling content and cohesive stories.
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, ensuring grammatical and factual accuracy, as well as compliance with business rules and norms.
  • Approach complex challenges by distilling content into clear, concise, and cohesive messaging by way of creative copy solutions.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment where evolving business needs may shift priorities and project deadlines.
  • Proactively communicate with manager and team members to meet deadlines and respond to stakeholder requirements.
  • Continued support and enhancement of stakeholder guidelines to inform and improve upon creative content quality.

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of advertising/marketing in either a corporate or agency environment; experience in copywriting and content development for product/service marketing and/or customer communication
  • 2+ years of managerial experience
  • Expert technical expertise as it pertains to grammar, punctuation, and syntax
  • Creative, solutions-focused, and cross-functional problem-solver with strong initiative
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and tasks under tight deadlines, and shifting priorities as needed
  • Capable of using tools to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with various internal teams and external stakeholders

  • Familiarity with current online trends and tools
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in English, communications, marketing, journalism or a related field
