Position Summary:

Under the general direction of the Associate Vice President, the Manager of Creative Services will develop and execute marketing collateral that informs, engages, and inspires prospective and admitted audiences. The manager will identify the creative strategies that contribute to overall RFU enrollment marketing goals, drive value, and further the RFU mission, developing a wide variety of graphic, digital, and electronic tactics. The creative services manager is a key member of a high-performing enrollment marketing team who will share RFU’s story with prospective and admitted students, pre-health advisors and influencers, and community and professional organizations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide vision and develop plan for enrollment marketing digital strategy and social media content. 
  • Direct creative output for digital and electronic enrollment marketing from early concept stages through to production. 
  • Identify opportunities for expanding digital and electronic awareness of RFU among key audiences on social media. 
  • Drive increase in inquiries and applications through quality, engaging marketing creative. 
  • Monitor digital and social media trends. 
  • Adhere to brand standards and consistently represent RFU in all marketing creative. 
  • Manage multiple, concurrent projects and staff. 
  • Collaborate with program and administrative partners, subject matter experts, and external vendors, if needed. 
  • Develop a strong working relationship with enrollment analyst. 
  • Represent office at a variety of meetings and events. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Must achieve background check clearance. 
  • Must have proof of COVID19 vaccination or a university-approved exemption.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or advertising. 
  • 2-3 years of demonstrated experience managing marketing projects and/or teams or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Advanced skills to create, develop, and implement short/long-term digital and electronic marketing plans. 
  • Superior understanding of all aspects of digital and social marketing. 
  • Strong customer focus with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Creative approach to storytelling and brand management. 
  • Expertise in creating digital strategy and social media content and landscape. 
  • Knowledge of best practices and a demonstrated ability to keep abreast of industry trends. 
  • Extensive analytical, critical thinking, project management, and problem recognition, avoidance, and resolution skills. 
  • Strong team focus with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Initiative and ability to work independently and within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in digital humanities, communications, business, project management, or related field. 
  • Experience with the Slate CRM communications module. 
  • Prior work in graduate admissions or the health professions. 
  • Knowledge of RFU’s academic programs, distinguishing features, and brand identity.
