THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

The Manager, Digital Creative (Digital Marketing Partnerships) is responsible for incorporating our brand vision and design direction from the Director, Digital Creative into our digital marketing partnership channels – all aligning to overarching Digital Marketing Partnership & Ulta Beauty Brand strategies. This role will work seamlessly with the Director, Digital Creative and teams across Digital, Content Marketing, and Integrated Marketing as we continue to grow, evolve, and innovate our digital footprint. In addition, this role will work closely with our Ecommerce Digital Marketing Team to grow and evolve the Digital Marketing Partnership Program.

The Manager, Digital Creative (Digital Marketing Partnerships) will manage a team of 1 plus freelancers and/or agency partners.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

  • Creative direction and execution of digital content across display and paid social channels that aligns to our strategic vision in the Partnership Program 
  • Maintaining stewardship of brand partner’s look, tone and feel while aligning to Ulta Beauty’s brand vision, voice and standards 
  • Staying current and capitalizes on emerging social, digital, and industry trends – with a finger on the cultural pulse of the digital ecosystem 
  • Managing multiple high-volume brand partner-focused digital deliverables 
  • Providing strategic, quick, actionable creative feedback to internal team and agency partners 
  • Using of data & analytics to evolve the brand and guest experience 
  • Partnering with copywriters to develop a range of ideas and designs that are on-brief and on-strategy 
  • Inspiring and motivate designers and agency partners to be innovatively progressive through storytelling, typography, photo styling, motion and creative exploration 
  • Managing the designers on the team; ensuring their growth and success 
  • Partnering and aligns with the Digital Creative Managers, to create greater efficiencies in process and collaboration across the different pillars on the Digital Creative Team 
  • Leading and participating in brainstorms and project discussions 
  • Building out and maintaining the Digital Marketing Partnerships Style Guide

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Proven leader and motivator of design professionals, with 2+ years of experience in management 
  • Phenomenal portfolio of work with experience in digital marketing with a love for content creation—design, GIF, video, photography, stop motion 
  • Knowledge of all social media platforms and latest trends 
  • Superior communications and organizational skill 
  • A desire & ability to drive innovation, both in technology and in process 
  • High level of proficiency with the following programs & languages: Adobe Creative Suite (including Premiere and AfterEffects), InVision, Sketch – motion design is required 
  • Detail oriented, but able to focus on the bigger picture 
  • Efficient time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines 
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills 
  • Bachelors Degree in Design, Media Arts or similar 
  • A passion for Ulta Beauty, its products, and its guests is a requirement
