The Manager of Internal Communications will be responsible for developing strategic, integrated marketing and communication content for Cambria’s internal communications. A core responsibility will be to write, develop, and oversee all internal communications. S/he must be able to conceptualize and implement strategic communication frameworks, manage and write company newsletters and digital communications including intranet, blog and emails, and lead companywide employee communications as they relate to organizational initiatives, change management and benefits. This role also leads our printed newsletter for employees and business partners.

This position requires an impeccable, detail-oriented writer with an ability to manage projects independently and a strong background working across company departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal communications including copywriting for press materials and corporate messaging 
  • Create content for our internal intranet and weekly companywide emails. 
  • Write company key messages, Q&A, briefing documents, sales meeting agendas, and leadership presentations 
  • Post content to internal Chatter on regular basis 
  • Maintain and regularly refresh internal key messages and Q&A documents 
  • Manage bi-annual company newsletter through development, interviews, writing and execution 
  • Manage and execute company messages and announcements 
  • Regularly monitor industry trends and create innovative and impactful content ideas 
  • Led the redevelopment of our intranet site and develop new weekly email newsletter to all employees 
  • Other content assignments as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven track record designing and executing successful communication strategies 
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills for both print and digital communications 
  • Strategic to bring new ideas and tactical to accomplish daily duties 
  • Highly-organized, motivated self-starter with innate ability to effectively manage time and prioritize workload 
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with continuous change 
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team 
  • Must submit writing samples/complete a writing assignment as part of application process

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Four year bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or related field
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years leading corporate or internal communications for mid to large size company
  • Systems: Google Suite and Microsoft Office, WordPress, Widen
  • Managerial Responsibilities: None
  • Travel Requirements: May be required to travel to other Cambria locations
  • Physical Requirements: This is an office position requiring phone and computer use
