Your role at Baxter

As a Marketing Communications Manager you provide communications strategy development and execution within the Global Technical Services (GTS) business unit. You will also manage a variety of GTS Marcomm initiatives including the development and implementation of overarching brand-level marketing campaigns for specified service product segments. Serve as a strategic partner to all of Baxter’s business unit’s Product and Commercial teams in guiding message development and promotional efforts targeted to healthcare professionals and the sales force.

What you'll be doing

  • Assists in establishing product direction and priorities to feed collateral, trainings, exhibitions and launches based on balancing needs of customers, sales, market forces and business goals for GTS 
  • Continually contributes to development and improvement of product positioning and messaging that differentiates our GTS offerings in the global market 
  • Contributes to the creation of a global marketing vision, strategy and direction for GTS products and offerings 
  • Conceptualizes and manages the execution of integrated marketing campaigns to align with marketing engagement strategy in support of growth initiatives 
  • Assists Commercial Regions/Downstream with establishing their go-to market strategies, messaging, product positioning and sales strategies 
  • Responsible for new product/offering introductions (launches) and associated campaigns
  • Seek/implement cost saving strategies to current and new design projects 
  • Performs other duties as requested

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field 
  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels 
  • Project Management skills – able to effectively complete multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Flexibility and Adaptability – able to roll with changing circumstances and priorities based on business needs 
  • Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Graphic design experience preferred 
  • Knowledge of Marketing and Branding Concepts an asset 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Creative mind, energy and ideas 
  • Outgoing, and excited about growing company and increasing market share 
  • Potential travel 25% of the time

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $80,000 to $180,000 plus an annual incentive bonus. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
