POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will manage and oversee execution of all aspects of AtriCure’s participation in national, regional and local conventions Activities include strategy development, messaging, booth development, logistics coordination (staffing, badges, hotel blocks, communications, ancillary events), sponsorship management, coordination on social media/promotional marketing and on-site execution.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  • Develop annual convention strategy in conjunction with Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Sales teams on convention messaging and manage development of graphics, animations and product demos for booth with display vendor. 
  • Execute all logistics of national and regional conventions, including but not limited to staffing, badges, hotel blocks, communications and ancillary events. 
  • Oversee execution of local conventions by Principal – Conventions & Events Develop and manage processes for seamless execution and tracking of tradeshow participation, display inventory and event reporting. 
  • Manage events calendar 
  • Ensure compliance to industry rules 
  • Report key metrics related to events 
  • Maintain electronic database and electronic files for events

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, advertising, marketing required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience 
  • Minimum of 5 years of related convention experience in medical device setting 
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Must be creative, self-motivated, proactive, intuitive, organized, flexible, deadline-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently 
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills 
  • Ability to travel 25%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop 
  • Graphic design experience

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as required 
  • Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull 
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift over 25 pounds 
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
