Manager Marketing - Remote

The Manager Marketing is responsible for leading a team that creates product, sales and/or business development marketing plans. This role drives the execution of quality marketing and communication pieces, as part of an overall marketing strategy, to meet Prime Therapeutics’ business and member experience objectives.


  • Create marketing plans that will make an impact, support the brand, meet the needs of internal or external stakeholders and drive sales of Prime’s products, programs and services 
  • Collaborate with key partners across Marketing and Prime to ensure marketing efforts are current, relevant, and in alignment with Prime’s strategic direction 
  • Review and approve all marketing communication pieces to ensure they align with Prime’s style and corporate brand, and that Prime’s position and key messages are consistent 
  • Provide work direction and manage the performance of staff to ensure marketing communication objectives are achieved 
  • Prioritize work and manage multiple projects and initiatives to meet deliverable dates 
  • Lead a team of Product and/or Business Development marketers to develop and support materials, communications and the cross-functional Request for Proposal (RFP) process 
  • Manage department budget, staffing, performance and development, and consistently demonstrate Prime’s leadership expectations during interactions with direct reports, cross functional and external stakeholders 
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required 
  • 6 years of work experience in marketing, with focus on product marketing or new business development 
  • 1 year of leadership/people management experience 
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including team leadership, conflict resolution and listening 
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously without compromising quality 
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or health care experience 
  • Brand development and positioning experience 
  • Sales and account management experience

Minimum Physical Job Requirements:

  • Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear 
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms 
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch 
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to Director or Sr. Director in the Marketing department
