JOB PROFILE SUMMARY

The Manager of Marketing will be a key driver of growth initiatives, responsible for developing, executing, and measuring comprehensive marketing strategies to guide growth, increase sales, and enhance brand awareness. We are seeking a marketing leader who is as comfortable setting vision and strategy as they are executing campaigns and analyzing results. This individual collaborates with key internal stakeholders across the organization to gain alignment. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, data analysis, and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the health and ancillary insurance landscape, including the regulatory environment, and experience navigating both B2B and B2C marketing.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement omni-channel marketing strategies and plans that align with enterprise goals for sales growth, retention, and agent and consumer experience
  • Drive end-to-end campaign management– from high level strategy and planning to hands-on execution and optimization– demonstrating the ability to pivot between big picture thinking and detailed implementation
  • Conduct quantitative analysis of financial, marketing, and other data to identify key market drivers and new opportunities that can be translated into actionable plans to achieve goals
  • Manage and track marketing budgets and business cases to ensure all activities are delivered within financial parameters and delivering on goals
  • Lead the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns across various platforms, including email, SMS, direct mail, paid digital (social, SEM, display), and website optimization, with a focus on maximizing reach, engagement, and ROI
  • Oversee the creation of all marketing materials and collateral, ensuring they are compliant with direct response best practices, brand guidelines and industry regulations (e.g., CMS advertising guidelines)
  • Implement A/B testing and other methodologies to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize for performance
  • Measure the impact of marketing campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead generation, conversion rates, and return on ad spending
  • Create detailed reports and communicate insights to senior leadership and cross-functional teams to inform future strategy
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners in sales, technology, regulatory, and legal to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to marketing staff, fostering professional growth within the team
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in both strategic planning and tactical execution roles, with a willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and dive into the details as needed
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • 5+ years of relevant marketing experience, with a proven track record of successfully managing omni-channel marketing campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes
  • 2+ years of experience using data and analytics to evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness
  • 2+ years of experience in a quantitative marketing discipline, using results to drive future strategies (managing direct channels, performance marketing, analytics, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience identifying new and innovative ways to solve problems through marketing with demonstrated ability to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Demonstrated experience in a highly regulated industry, with a strong understanding of compliance and legal requirements
  • Experience in the healthcare or health insurance sector with strong understanding of relevant regulations and compliance standards is highly preferred
  • Degree in marketing, business administration, data analytics or a related field- preferred
  • Proven ability to lead and execute omni-channel marketing strategies that deliver results in both B2B and B2C environments
  • Experience navigating complex initiatives from concept to implementation, with a history of getting buy-in from senior leadership.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation software, and digital analytics tools

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The base pay for this role in the St. Louis Park MN office is: $90,000 - $120,000 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits medical, dental, vision, life, and participation in the company 401(k) plan. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
