Manager, Product Marketing

The Manager, Product Marketing will collaborate with the product owner, sales and marketing to develop and execute highly effective growth plans for Baker Tilly's suite of SaaS products and services. Acting as a product advocate, the Manager, Product Marketing understands the product’s feature set and benefits and clearly articulates its value proposition by developing innovative and compelling market positioning strategies, messaging, marketing collateral, sales materials and thought leadership that can be used in go-to-market efforts. The Manager, Product Marketing will also ensure of the product’s competitive differentiation by driving ongoing enhancements through a formal release schedule that provides the user with an optimal experience.

Primary duties and responsibilites:

Responsible for the success of a product through the development and execution of:

  • A product roadmap by developing a multi-year product plan
  • Comprehensive marketing plans that drive growth across all key customer segments
  • Owns and creates product content (e.g., web content, data sheets, infographics, solution briefs, white papers, user guides, tutorials, RFP content, pitch decks, sales documentation, product videos, release announcements, etc.) to articulate the benefits of the product
  • Communicate the value proposition of the product to the sales team
  • Develop the sales tools and training that support the selling process of the product
  • Gain insight into customer use of current products, buyer personas, how they buy and their buying criteria
  • Measure and optimize the buyer journey as it relates to adoption and usage
  • Identify and plan for performance parameters (financial, technology, market share, competitive) to position products
  • Be the expert on competition
  • Follow and analyze market trends to position the product and identify new required capabilities


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on SaaS product marketing experience
  • Ability to create strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, excellent communicator, ability to teach and coach others
  • Requires professionalism, project management skills, organization, ability to manage multiple project requests simultaneously in a timely manner, and ability to handle details while keeping an eye on the big picture
  • Must be able to communicate (written and verbal) and present effectively with all levels of staff and work well in a team-focused environment.
